Doing Well While Doing Good: Ethics and The Business of Law

Please join us for the DCDBA's October two-hour CLE luncheon featuring a lively moderated panel discussion with leaders of some of Miami's largest firms. They'll discuss how they guide their firms to profitability and significance through and around nettlesome issues like hiring, business development, diversity, community involvement, and billing practices. Topics will include how to maintain a cohesive firm culture in the era of attorney fungibility; the impact of changing lawyer workforce expectations as more and more Millennials come into the practice of law; how firm bosses handle trouble and manage success; how big firms get paid and how they make a difference for free -- and when to do which.
