Computer Forensics and eDiscovery in Today's Legal Society


Joseph Farina, retired Chief Judge of the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida, is highly regarded as an active and effective settlement judge who has handled and managed numerous settlements of complex cases. He served as Circuit Judge in the Circuit Civil Division of the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, Florida. From 1995 to 2009, he served as Chief Judge and supervised the full operations of the Miami-Dade Court system. 


PTrenton L. Walton serves as Chief Technology Officer of U.S. Legal Support. He is a leading expert in complicated discovery matters, such as cloud computing, computer forensics, electronic data discovery, and internal investigations. He is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production.


Please join us for our fourth CLE luncheon of 2015 for their presentation on the collection, forensic investigation, processing, document review, and production of electronic evidence. Judge Farina and Mr. Walton will provide practical tips on good and bad practices when dealing with electronic data, and how to manage timelines and costs of a project with electronic evidence in their interactive discussion.
